Blair Brown
Ahumahi Property has appointed experienced property development and investment specialist Blair Brown as General Manager.
Blair brings more than 30 years of experience across property development, investment and acquisitions, spanning the industrial, commercial, residential, health and tourism sectors.
He joins Ahumahi Property from Ngāi Tahu Property, where he has been Development Manager since November 2024, with a focus on large-scale development projects and future investment opportunities.
Prior to this, Blair was Mainland Capital’s development and acquisition manager overseeing industrial land, tourism and health developments.
Blair has previously held roles with Ngāi Tahu Property, NewUrban Group and The Property Group, and brings experience across the full property lifecycle, from opportunity origination through to development delivery and investment management.
As General Manager, Blair will lead Ahumahi Property as it progresses its initial approximately 200-hectare industrial development portfolio across Pound Road in Hornby, Ryans Road near Christchurch Airport and Two Chain Road in Rolleston.
The three developments are currently planned to provide around 315 industrial lots and have a projected value of approximately $700 million as developed, vacant industrial land.
They will form the foundation of Ahumahi Property’s wider South Island portfolio, with the company actively seeking further significant industrial property opportunities across Te Waipounamu.
